Join our growing HR team in Ottertail! As an HR Assistant / CSR, you will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. You will assist with day-to-day HR tasks, ensuring smooth HR processes while providing exceptional support to employees and management.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with employee benefits, timekeeping, payroll, recruiting, and other HR-related items.

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization.

Provide clerical support by entering, formatting, and printing information.
-
Assist with planning, execution, and documentation of special events, meetings, and trainings.

Maintain and schedule employee licensing, certifications, and exams.

Assist with management and distribution of clothing and PPE inventory.

Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
-
Maintain quality service by following organization standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by HR Director.
Secondary Responsibilities:

Answer inbound phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Gather and record customer information for tree care estimate requests.
-
Provide general information about services offered, pricing, and timelines.
-
Address customer questions, concerns, or complaints.
-
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the arborist system.
-
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
-
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints.
-
Communicate with customers through various channels.
-
Process orders, forms, and requests.
-
Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
-
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.

Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.

Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Prior human resource experience or related office experience (preferred).

Prior CSR experience or related office experience (preferred).
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
