The Youth Employment Program operates during the summer break offering opportunities for youths ages 14-21. The goal of the Youth Employment Program is to provide diverse employment options, enabling participants to gain valuable experience across various fields of work.
Key Dates
The following criteria must be met in order to have an application considered for the City of Carson Youth Employment Program:
To be considered for employment, applications must be fully completed and include all required documents. Submissions will be reviewed upon receipt, and eligible candidates will be considered on a "first come, first served" basis. Those interested in these roles are strongly encouraged to apply promptly.

The following criteria must be met in order to have an application considered for the City of Carson Youth Employment Program:
- The applicant must be a resident of Carson, supported by valid verification documents.
- Carson Youth ages 14-21, on or before July 7, 2025, are eligible for the City of Carson Youth Employment Program.
- Carson Youth applicants under 18 years of age will be required to obtain a work permit.
- Carson Youth Applicants who are 18 years or older who receive a job offer are required to undergo a drug screening and background check.
- Applicants must answer all required supplemental questions for consideration.
