Summary
Coordinates, develops and provides effective nursing orientation and ongoing staff development programs. Develops and assigns Learning Management System courses to specific employee groups. Assists the clinical managers with training needs assessments and the provision of educational programs. Facilities and provides American Heart Association (AHA) courses. Coordinates or assists with special projects or programs within the department.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers Certification
- Documented evidence of teaching and education experience
- Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)
Preferred:
- Experience with Learning Management System
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor
