DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Director of Marketing in Richmond, Virginia. The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing Carter Machinery's marketing strategies both digital and traditional, including the planning, organizing, and managing of marketing functions to achieve the company’s objectives of sales, market share growth, profitability, and visibility; in alignment with corporate strategy and supporting The Carter Way. Seeking candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of seven years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on digital marketing and marketing automation. Previous leadership experience is required.

Requirements For The Director Of Marketing Position Include

• Technical Skills: Proficient in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

• Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Must be able to engage in effective and persuasive discussions with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to define, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a good listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong PC skills and the ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology.
• Must be willing to travel to include overnight trips.
