Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Exterior Cleaning:
- Wash and rinse vehicles using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Dry vehicles and ensure the removal of any water spots or streaks.
- Clean wheels, tires, and windows to ensure the vehicle appears spotless and polished.
- Vehicle Interior Cleaning:
- Focus on the driver’s seat area.
- Vacuum the driver’s area including seats, carpets, floor mats.
- Wipe down surfaces such as dashboards, center consoles, and door panels.
- Ensure all trash and debris are removed from the driver’s area.

- Inspect vehicles after cleaning to ensure no areas have been missed.
- Report any damages, stains, or issues found during the cleaning process to the Recon Shop Foreman and the appropriate service advisor.
- Ensure vehicle interiors are odor-free and ready for customer delivery.
- General Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash area, ensuring all cleaning supplies and tools are in good working condition.
- Keep all washing equipment properly maintained and report any malfunctioning equipment.
- Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
Customer Interaction:
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude when engaging with customers or other team members.
Other Duties:
- Assist with moving vehicles within the service department, ensuring they are in the correct service or storage area.
- Assist in any additional tasks related to vehicle care or cleanliness as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in car washing or detailing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality results.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require working in varying weather conditions.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, aprons, and safety glasses may be necessary.
