CHMC - Food Services-Diet Assistant- Full Time- Day Shift-6a-6:30p- Requisition 8181
Job Grade: 8 $20.67-$25.66*
The Diet Assistant performs general functions related to food service, productions, sanitation, and customer service. Responsibilities include: preparing menus for distribution; Collecting and updating menus according to physicians and dietitians orders and nutritional requirement; ordering special items as need; contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures and the implementation of cost-control procedures, including efficient time utilization of food service workers and cooks; ensuring compliance with departmental standards; and completing work schedules according to policy.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in an institutional food service role or
one (1) year supervisory experience within an institutional food service setting
Exhibit proficient communication skills and ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a variety of personalities
Proficient computer skills
Maintains quality assurance and compliance with all regulatory agencies
Requirements: Bending, Lifting, Standing & Walking
