What are the responsibilities and job description for the CHMC - NURSING ATTENDANT-Med Surg position at Carthage Area Hospital?
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. BLS Certification and PMCS within orientation period. Ability to implement and support procedures and programs pertaining to patient safety and security. Maintaining confidentiality of all patient information. Exhibit proficient communication skills and ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a variety of personalities. Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.
Proficient computer skills. Ability to lift, move, and transport patients safely. Experience with adult / geriatric health care population. Minimum of six months prior nursing assistant experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
