Job Title: Seasonal Technician (June, July, August)
Responsible to: Director of Information Technology
Qualifications:
? Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and IT components
? Detailed knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
? Proven experience as computer technician or similar role
? Exceptional organizational, time-management, and communication skills
? Thorough background in troubleshooting that is sufficient for installation and repair
Primary Functions:
Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology, technicians will provide onsite
support to network users, setup hardware, configure and install software and drivers,
maintain and repair equipment and peripheral devices, and provide secondary support to other
members of the department.
General Responsibilities:
? Offer timely technical support and assist stakeholders in the utilization of technology
components
? Maintain, install, and manage hardware, software, peripherals, etc.
? Facilitate implementation of technologies selected by educators
? Assist in the installation of network and management components
? Manage security options to maintain privacy and protection
? Perform regular upgrades and updates
? Complete other duties as assigned
