IT Support Analyst
The IT Support Analyst will provide technical support and assist users with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. In addition to handling frontline IT support, this role will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in database and systems administration to serve as a backup when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for IT issues, including hardware, software, printers, and networking.
- Respond to help desk tickets, troubleshoot problems, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining workstations, user accounts, and system permissions.
- Support basic network and server maintenance under the guidance of senior IT staff.
- Learn and assist with database management tasks, including backups, user access, and data integrity.
- Gain hands-on experience in systems administration, including monitoring and maintaining servers.
- Document IT support processes, common issues, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to develop technical skills and prepare for higher-level responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
- High school diploma or GED (required); Associate degree in IT or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Experience with Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and remote desktop tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities over time.
- Ability to interact and communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Prior experience in IT support or customer service is a plus but not required.
