About The Position
The Wholesale Inventory Specialist is integral to our team, focusing on the effective management and evaluation of wholesale inventory with an emphasis on vehicle quality and inventory flow. This position involves assessing vehicle conditions and ensuring that inventory transitions smoothly from acquisition to sale. You will be responsible for analyzing vehicle data and operational processes, working collaboratively across departments to identify and resolve inventory-related challenges. In this role, you will assist team members with escalated issues, address vehicle quality concerns, and ensure the accuracy of Condition Reports. A comprehensive understanding of vehicle components, including exterior, interior, and mechanical parts, combined with strong operational acumen, is essential. Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach are crucial for success. This role presents an opportunity to enhance your analytical and technical skills while making a significant impact on our business stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Understand business processes and collaborate with various groups throughout the company to work cross-functionally with product and analysts
- Use data to identify trends and improve processes
- Research, resolve, and track inventory requests
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our internal customers through positive and effective communication
- Monitor and correct outliers to ensure vehicles are appropriately placed within the supply chain
- Monitor performance metrics related to inventory, and identify problems, solutions, and opportunities for improvements.
- Audit vehicle damages and inspection to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Evaluate inventory for Mechanical, exterior, and interior components
- Over 2 years of customer service experience
- Knowledge of automotive parts and components
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Ability to interact effectively in a professional and courteous manner
- Skilled at multitasking and prioritizing tasks in dynamic environments
- Comfortable working on a computer for up to 8 hours per day
- Eager to learn data analytical methods and tools, specifically SQL and Excel (Gsheets)
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- High computer literacy and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-departmentally and drive initiatives
- Flexible working hours as needed
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred
