infant and toddler teacher

Carver Day Care and Preschool has positions open in our childcare program on first and second shift. We are looking for qualified candidates for full and part time during one of our shifts in the infant, toddler and preschool classrooms. Hours of operation are First shift 6:00AM to 5:30PM and Second shift 2:00PM to 1:00AM. Full time is 40 hours a week.

Co-Teacher :

Must have or working towards a CDA, Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Must be able to plan and implement lesson plans, to provide stimulating and a developmentally appropriate learning environment that nurtures social/emotional, physical, cognitive, language development and communicate and support all aspects of classroom management with another qualified teacher

Teacher Assistant:

Must have a High School Diploma/GED

Working towards a CDA or willing to enroll in a CDA class within the first year

1-2 years of experience preferred

Must be able to assist or carry out activities and lessons planned by the lead teacher and follow the lead of the lead teacher.

Afternoon/Evening Float (12pm-9:00pm)

cover first shift staff lunch break and assist in classrooms on first and second shift. Must be 18 years old and High School graduate and willing to work in any classroom. Ideal position for a college student or someone new to the field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
