What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Carvers USA?
POSITION OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a reliable, mechanically-minded individual to join our team as a Honda & General Mechanic. You’ll work on a variety of used vehicles—mostly Hondas and Acuras—with occasional Toyotas, Chevys, and others.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Diagnose and repair basic to moderate issues on used cars
- Perform oil changes, brake jobs, tire replacements, and light engine work
- Help prep vehicles for resale (both clean and rebuilt titles)
- Occasionally assist with teardown for parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Prior mechanical experience (professional or self-taught)
- Familiarity with Honda/Acura platform is a plus
- Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Valid driver’s license
PAY & SCHEDULE
- based on experience, skill, consistency
- Monday–Friday
- Full-time or part-time considered
- Shop located in Jeffersonville, Indiana
