Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies is seeking a Program Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all program activities for students and participants during the three-week intensive program, teaching established curriculum, and providing one-on-one counseling and guidance as needed.
About the Program:
- Objective: To provide high school age youth with hands-on learning experiences in environmental science research about watershed ecology.
- Components: Three-week intensive program, part-time preparation work, and program follow-up.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecology or a related field, as well as experience working with high school age youth in either formal or informal settings. Proficiency in aquatic and terrestrial components of a watershed is highly desirable.
