The role oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, fund accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and audits. Responsibilities include managing contract and grant reporting systems, ensuring compliance, optimizing contract performance, and collaborating with program and resource teams. The Controller supports the CFO in executing strategic plans. This position's annual range is $105,000-$115,000 and it offers medical, vision, dental, paid time off, 401k, and other voluntary benefits.
Position Highlights
- Manage financial operations, including ledger entries, financial statements, cash monitoring, and process improvements.
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and procurement activities.
- Ensure timely processing of receivables and implement collection efforts.
- Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, trial balance reviews, and financial statement preparation.
- Prepare and coordinate external audit schedules, including federal award reporting.
- Lead the consolidation and coordination of annual and funder budgets.
- Collaborate with the CFO to prepare financial projections and analyses.
- Manage funding plans, serve as the fiscal liaison, and enforce budget policies.
- Monitor contract spending, compliance, and financial reporting, ensuring timely reviews and updates.
