Position Purpose : Enter and balance all inventory transactions into Great Plains / 365 Business Central. Compile daily cash receipts for assigned businesses and generate report data. Assist with quarterly wine club processing. Assist with the purchasing functions of the company.
Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / Tasks :
1. Learn and understand the POS / Inventory program. Enter all inventory transactions into GP / 365 Business Central.
2. Enter cash receipts as they arrive from the Reconciliation Room. Verify credit card batches and research any discrepancies. Enter audited / reconciled information into spreadsheets for sales information, over / shorts and transactions.
3. Audit POS systems to verify that scanning item and pricing is accurate. Maintain data integrity of all output tools and reporting.
4. Coordinate the operational aspects of the physical inventory taking process, including cycle counts. Be present for inventory in the multiple businesses.
5. Help support the quarterly wine club sales and shipments by entering information, making phone calls and sending emails.
6. As needed, assist with the purchasing requirements of the company.
Qualifications : Three (3) years experience in Inventory Management. Must also possess working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Working with an inventory control software program a plus.
Special Position Requirements : Must be detail-oriented, have good math and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
