Consulting Dietitian
6-8 hours per week or as needed
$50-$60 per hour, DOE
Casa Dorinda Retirement Community is looking to enlist the services of a Registered Dietitian on a consulting basis. The qualified candidate must have at least 3 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) and must have at least 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing and/or Long-term Care environment.
This role will be responsible for the nutritional care of the residents by current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, established company policies and procedures, and in coordination with the Director of Dining Services to ensure that quality food service and nutritional care appropriate to each resident is provided at all times.
Essential Duties
- New admission, quarterly, annual and significant change assessments
- Weight monitoring
- Generate Report of QAPI meeting.
- Care planning with IDT
- Routine kitchen audits
- In-services with nursing and kitchen staff as needed
- Educate residents and family members as needed
Salary : $50 - $60
