What are the responsibilities and job description for the CASA First Program Support Specialist position at CASA - First Judicial District?
CASA First Judicial District is looking for a dynamic, professional, and hardworking team player to join our growing nonprofit serving the needs of trauma-impacted children in Northern New Mexico.

The Program Support Specialist will support our Program Coordinator and Volunteer supervisor by helping with client intakes, and recruiting, training, and oversight of our Volunteer CASAs and Abrigo Advocates who provide advocacy for children in Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, and Los Alamos Counties who are in foster care or have experienced trauma.
The PSS will also help with researching and delivering resources to our children and families. The Program Support Specialist will additionally provide program support to the CASA Executive Director including logistical support, and helping with community outreach and building partner relationships.

Full-time position located in Santa Fe. Candidates will undergo a background check.
Qualifications
- Experience in direct services for children and youth, including those who’ve experienced trauma, homelessness, or juvenile justice involvement or who are in crisis.
- Must have a positive, collaborative, and enthusiastic approach
- Must have a trauma and culturally-informed lens
- Strong time management, administrative and computer skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including written reports
- Must be able to manage record-keeping and client data-tracking systems
- Ability to interact positively and professionally with the public, volunteers, court personnel, CYFD, and partners
- Excellent interpersonal skills and respectful of all people regardless of background, culture, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or gender
- Adaptability to changing environments with the ability to respond to and manage crises with a calm, mindful approach
- High level of integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Commitment to CASA First’s mission and programs and ability to excite and motivate
- others about our work.

Salary
CASA First presents a challenging, rewarding work environment and offers a competitive salary and benefits including generous holidays/time off. We prioritize staff wellness with our 32-hour work week with full-time pay. Starting salary is $42,000 dependent on experience, with an additional $400.00 a month wellness stipend.
