About the role
We're hiring an Operations leader to help us build and scale Casa's operational backbone.
This role is great for someone energized by the real estate management aspects of our business - bridging our delightful software experience with high-quality physical service delivery across a network of handymen and third-party vendors and trades.
You'll design and refine some of our earliest processes, ensuring they're efficient, scalable, and deliver consistently excellent experiences for homeowners.
You should be comfortable with ambiguity and bring a hands-on, problem-solving mindset to tackling complex challenges. Every decision you make should build value, increase trust with our members, and lay the foundation for a strong, scalable ops infrastructure.
What you'll do
First and foremost, we're looking for people who are excited about what we're doing - you don't need to know everything about residential properties, but you should be excited to learn.
We're looking for someone that has the talent, experience, and work ethic to understand our priorities and drive their own work forward. Ops roles at our stage are necessarily ambiguous and cover a huge portfolio of responsibilities, so we need someone who thrives in that environment.
Among the responsibilities that may be included in this role :
- Leading & scaling our day-to-day operations in the Bay Area - keeping requests answered, homes serviced, and members delighted. Step in where needed, then create the processes, playbooks, metrics, and feedback loops to streamline our current operations & grow future capacity.
- Developing a network of top-tier vendors across core home service trades to guarantee high-value experiences and high-quality service for our members. Requires a strong sales and business development mindset.
- Managing a team of crew members , including hiring, training, scheduling, and managing contracted handymen to ensure an efficient, service-oriented experience for our members.
- Building a high quality member onboarding experience. Past experience in community, customer success, or product onboarding roles is a huge plus, along with a healthy amount of creativity in crafting high-touch member experiences.
- Shape Casa's Future : You'll be one of of earliest ops hires, so you'll partner across our team of engineers and product designers to share on-the-ground insights from members & vendors, inform product development, and build a scalable operations function with broader goals in mind.
