Role Overview: The Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting this mission. This position is responsible for guiding the development, implementation, and assessment of our volunteer pre-service training, continuing education for staff, and collaboration with community partners. The Training Coordinator will oversee the organization's training plan, ensuring it aligns with our strategic objectives. This involves working closely with the Advocate Recruiter to enhance our recruitment and retention efforts, effectively bolstering our advocacy impact.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Proficient in PowerPoint presentations, utilizing Zoom, and Microsoft Office, and managing uploads and data entries into data systems.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proven experience in project management, training, and development.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite.
- A deep understanding of adult education principles and practical classroom experience.
