Michelin-starred and New York Times 3-star Spanish Restaurant Casa Mono in Gramercy seeks a dedicated, professional FLOOR MANAGER with an appreciation for warm hospitality. Our management team is committed to creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests, educating our staff, and growing our business. The extensive wine list is completely Spanish. The menu is very creative, and seasonally focused with an emphasis on sustainable seafood, local whole-animal butchery, and produce from the Union Square Greenmarket.
General Responsibilities:
- Managing and inspiring the staff, and coordinating their work
- Leading by example
- Able to perform the duties through excellent food and wine knowledge
- Fulfilling special projects in a timely and organized fashion
- Provide customer support by resolving complaints regarding service or food quality
- Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations
- Maintaining high standard of hygiene, health and safety
Requirements:
- Passionate, willing to learn and grow
- 2 years of experience as a Manager, preferably NYC restaurants
- Flexible schedule (lunch, dinners, weekends, and holidays)
- Food Handler's Certificate Preferred
