POSITION: KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
Casappa is an Italian owned multinational company, founded 70 years ago and is still owned by the Casappa Family.
We design the main components of the hydraulic system, for applications in the fields of construction, road vehicles, material handling, agriculture, and mining.
The Key Account Manager responsibilities include growing the company's revenue by ensuring that key clients are satisfied with the services provided and identifying new business opportunities. The candidate must be comfortable dealing with both commercial and technical issues. The primary objective is to execute strategies and programs to achieve maximum sales volume and profitability for the company. This is a hybrid position, and the candidate will report to and work closely with the Sales Manager.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
• Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients and business development of new key accounts.
• Developing a thorough understanding of clients' needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions.
• Negotiation of commercial agreements and contracts for the fulfillment of each client's long-term goals.
• Understand accounts’ forecasting systems and requirements and the impact on capacity.
• Management of the pricing structure for key accounts from a global perspective.
• Management of the sales forecast, goals, and budget.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum two-year technical degree, Bachelor technical degree or Bachelor business degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Direct OEM Sales or Regional Sales.
• Hydraulic, fluid power, or other mechanical/electrical industry experience preferred.
• Experience with National & Global OEMs in key markets.
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Managing multiple inquiries and prioritizing accordingly.
• Self-motivated with excellent task management skills
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%) and work in a global team of professionals.
