Job Summary
Oversees the parts department, ensuring efficient operations, inventory accuracy, and excellent communication with vendors. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, organization, and distribution of parts, ensuring that repairs are completed in a timely manner and that our team has the materials they need to deliver top-quality service.
Responsibilities Essential Functions
- Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of parts, ensuring the shop is well-stocked with high-quality materials.
- Communicate expected delivery dates to the team and ensure parts arrive on time.
- Accurately track and maintain parts inventory.
- Collaborate with the damage writers and technicians to ensure the correct parts have arrived for repairs.
- Communicate with the team to provide real-time updates on part availability, delivery times, and any delays.
- Keep accurate records of all transactions and inventory changes within the system.
- Work closely with the service and repair teams to create a seamless workflow.
- Assist accounting department with any discrepancies found in parts postings.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with vendors, co-workers, and management.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and systems.
- Working knowledge of CCC One estimating platform is preferred.
- Self-motivated, driven, and dedicated with a strong work ethic.
