ABOUT CASCADE:
Cascade Community Healthcare (CCH) has been providing treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives. Cascade currently has six treatment locations in Lewis County.
We are looking for an Admissions Coordinator to join out Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program! you will be responsible for maintaining provider’s schedule, answering phones, sending out correspondence, data entry and preparing materials for therapeutic groups. Coordinating clients into treatment. Completing needed data collection tools with clients entering treatment. Ensure that clients have insurance and work with them on options for funding.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
PAY SCALE:
$18.30 - $22.30 DOE
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE:
- Experience working in the field of chemical dependency or other health care related offices strongly preferred.
- Able to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor Credential from WA State Department of Health. Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check. A national background check may be required if have not lived in WA State consecutively the last three years.
- Must be able to respond to and tolerate difficult people and crisis situations.
- Must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to enter information into a computer network system.
- Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Strong typing, spelling, grammar, and analytical skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of software, including Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Medical training or experience preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Must maintain current contact information and mailing address on file with the human resources office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job requires you to be able to do the following be able to be ambulatory, be able to talk and hear in person and on the phone. You will be required to interact with community members in various degrees of comprehension.
- Manages client scheduling
- Schedules clients for all appointments,
- Keeps the program administrator informed of scheduling trends and needs.
- Review collective medical and call clients for follow up and schedule them as needed.
- Provides Client Supportive Services.
- Provide observed urine analysis (UA) on same sex clients, maintain UA supplies, ensure that UAs are sent out in a timely manner to the lab, and receive and distribute UA results including labs,
- Maintains a list of community support groups for the clients.
- Client placement into Inpatient services, meet with clients to eliminate barriers to obtaining a bed for inpatient.
- Develops and monitors front office processes.
- Sends out all correspondence and medical records request.
- Demonstrates effective communication and decision-making skills.
- Informs internal and external customers of decisions which affect them.
- Communicates accurately, effectively and on a timely basis and in a professional manner.
