Dimensional Inspector / CMM Operator

Job Overview

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This person is detail oriented to inspect aerospace product to customer requirements. Expected to be able to use various inspection tools during these tasks. This will include the use of Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM).

Shift

Day Shift

Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Some overtime and weekends may be required based on company and customer needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Both manual and visual inspection of aerospace product using customer provided engineering requirements.
• Operation of a variety of CMM machines.
• Use of hand tool for inspections. Such as micrometer, height gages, calipers, pin gage, depth gage, inspection fixtures, etc.
• Document inspection using Microsoft products.
• Complete reports and provide data for to certify product.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years in quality position or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Ability to use basic inspection tools such as micrometer, calipers, pin gage, depth gage etc.
• Ability to read GD&T
• Team orientated
• Good communication skills
• Detail oriented
• May be required to lift up to 50lbs

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
