Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group golf lessons to players of all skill levels.
- Develop customized training programs to meet the needs of students.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth and improvement.
- Assist in organizing golf clinics, tournaments, and events.
- Maintain knowledge of current golf techniques and trends to enhance instruction.
- Build strong relationships with students and their families to promote engagement.
- Spread hospitality and goodwill among members, guests, and fellow staff.
Requirements:
- Previous merchandising experience is a plus.
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Good oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficient technological skills including point of sale (POS) system
- Knowledge of the golf industry is preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to take initiative and perform job functions with diligence, speed, and accuracy.
- Maintain a world-class golf shop appearance and shopping experience.
- Assist with unpacking, displaying receiving, and purchasing all products.
- Ensure the golf shop is always stocked and tidy.
- Assist in special order placements, customer sizing, and merch aside stations during events.
- Maintain knowledge of golf merchandise and promote sales.
- Manage inventory in the shop and stock room.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale system
- Schedule tee times, cancellations, and modifications
- Support other golf operations as needed.
- Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in golf instruction.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate students.
- Experience working with students or youth is preferred.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual needs.
- Passion for the game of golf and commitment to student development.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
