Revenue Cycle/Billing Support

We are currently looking for the newest member of our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)/Billing Team! This is a full-time position located in our newest Mount Vernon location (convenient I-5 access). This is not a remote position and billing companies should not apply.

Our RCM Team supports the billing functions for 9 providers and 5 locations.

This position will oversee all claim payment posting functions as well as support the other members of our RCM Team with tasks such as referrals and insurance claims follow-up.

Duties may include:

Posting insurance payments and denials

Following up on aged claims and submitting appeals as required

Referrals for clinic based services

Projects as assigned by the Director of RCM

The ideal candidate will have a minimum typing speed of 50WPM, a basic understanding of accounting principles such as you would need to balance a checkbook and strong computer skills.

The ideal candidate should be prepared to demonstrate their problem solving capabilities. They should be a self-starter with a drive to learn new skills and independently figure out the next step in situations where that is required. We are looking for someone who is motivated, excited to be at work and can joint a strong existing team with a positive attitude and a cheerful personality!

This is a fast-paced work environment with a lot to get done every week. It's a great atmosphere but a very busy one!

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in: ModMed PM, posting and balancing from electronic sources (ERA), medical billing, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Blue Cross, ICD10, CPT and HCPCS coding.
