BACKGROUND & SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Cascadia Mobility is Eugene's nonprofit operator for bike share, bike valet, and other programs which elevate active transportation. We are growing our team as our scope broadens in 2025.
A NOTE ON COVID-19
All team members are required to comply with federal, state, and local guidelines for preventing the spread of respiratory disease. This includes wearing masks when appropriate, frequent handwashing, and maintaining up-to-date vaccinations.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- The Bike Valet Event Staff will work closely with customers at events to provide white-glove valet services to customers.
- Closely follow Bike Valet procedures as described in training documentation.
- Help setup and tear down of Bike Valet operations hardware at events.
- Take and return customers’ bikes.
- Follow best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to manage dynamic priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Respect for customer confidentiality.
- Able to function both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Confident on a bicycle.
- Can lift up to 65 pounds, bend and stand for long periods of time.
- Open to others' ideas and a willingness to try new things.
- Eager and able to work outdoors year-round, rain or shine.
COMPENSATION
Pay: $16.00/hour, paid semi-monthly
Tips: Valet customers love to tip! At the end of each event day, you will divide tips with other valet staff and volunteers equitably, based on hours worked at the event.
