Janitor/Maintenance

We are looking for a responsible person to join our Night Maintenance / Janitorial staff at Casciano Traverse City Inc. / Burger King. Please apply in person at any of the five Traverse City Burger King locations or apply online at Careers.BK.com.

Our Night Maintenance staff care for our restaurants and carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The goal is to keep our buildings and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, cleaning restaurant fryers and broilers, etc)
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Check-in deliveries, rotate stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven working experience in the janitorial field
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
