PART TIME Intensive Outpatient Program Clinician (evening shift)
Casco Bay Recovery Center is seeking an IOP clinician to join our multidisciplinary team in our new Portland facility as it expands its continuum of care to better meet the diversified needs of its clients. Position Summary
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Counselor has a primary focus on group facilitation within an IOP setting. Primary clinical duties shall include: intake and assessment; family interventions; care coordination; crisis intervention and clinical case management. The IOP Counselor also works with their assigned case load to develop treatment planning and referrals for their clients. Other counseling services and administrative responsibilities include treatment planning, record keeping and documentation, and other clinical duties as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide excellent evidenced based treatment to clients to ensure treatment goals are met consistently and timely for all program requirements. Provides educational oversight for clients on functions related to care planning and recovery. Strives to provide and exceed quality performance improvement standards for patient care. All Clinicians are expected to function as active members of their teams.
Education, Licensure & Experience
CADC, LADC, LCSW, LCPC required
Two or more years work experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment setting required
Prior experience with clinical methods and techniques used in individual, family and group therapy as related to mental health and/or substance abuse issues is required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
