We fabricate stairs: Curved, Spiral and Straight stairs and railing. For commercial and residential customers near and far.
We fabricate for commercial and residential applications out of Stainless, Aluminum, Steel/Iron, Brass.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator with a solid background in the ironwork industry. The ideal candidate will possess both hands-on experience and a strong ability to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of ornamental and structural ironwork projects. Your expertise will play a key role in driving the success of our projects and ensuring client satisfaction.
Compensation:
$50,000 - $90,000 yearly (base hourly sales commission.)
Responsibilities:
Answer email and phone inquires from prospective clients.
- Engage in sales activities, promoting ornamental metal products and services to potential customers.
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for ornamental and structural ironwork projects, including labor, materials, and timelines.
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Conduct site visits as needed to assess project conditions and provide informed cost evaluations.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and product offerings to enhance sales strategies.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain accurate pricing and delivery schedules.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure seamless project handoff and alignment of estimated costs with project execution.
Qualifications:
- Foremost: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Second: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven experience as an estimator in the ornamental and/or structural ironwork industry. (Could be a similar industry, finish carpentry, Kitchen and bath)
- Nice to have: Hands-on experience in ornamental/ miscellaneous metals, structual ironwork, with a solid understanding of fabrication and installation processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools; experience with project management software is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
