We are looking for Business Development and Marketing Manager that is responsible for driving revenue growth, providing leadership to the sales team, and integrating marketing efforts across on-air, digital, and social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily sales operations, including client outreach, ad sales, copywriting, and deadline management.
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly sales strategies, promotions, and revenue-driving initiatives.
- Oversee digital inventory, revenue forecasting, and sales goal-setting while ensuring accountability.
- Assist the VP with accounts receivable and support staff in managing collections.
- Conduct market research to assess audience perception and adjust offerings accordingly.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff while fostering a strong company culture.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Director on brand promotion, recruitment, and engagement.
- Provide on-air support for commercial spots as needed.
- Attend occasional evening or weekend events, client meetings, and business activities.
- Perform other operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic growth initiatives.
- Experience in media, advertising, or digital marketing is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $50,000 – $70,000, with a base commission structure.
- Final salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
- IRA match after 90 days and paid time off.
