What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employment Assistant 1st Shift position at Case Farms, LLC?
Under the supervision of the Employment Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating and maintaining the Recruiting Office(s) and aiding the Employment Supervisor in monitoring and maintaining job boards, postings, and candidate disposition processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :
- Respond to inquiries regarding employment opportunities from internal and external clients via phone and email.
- Manage foot traffic and visitors to the Recruitment office.
- Screen applications and schedule interviews for General Labor openings.
- Update candidate statuses within the applicant tracking system in a timely manner to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Recruiting and HR departments to plan and host community events.
- Ensure recruitment campaigns are proactively monitored during the advertising period.
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials such as flyers and advertisements.
- Attend career fairs, community events, and do community outreach to assist in branding Case Farms and increase the company’s visibility in the surrounding communities.
- Provide assistance with New Hire Orientation as needed.
- Assist with recruiting efforts at the Winesburg, OH location as needed.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned.
- Position reports to the Employment Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Recruiting or HR experience preferred.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems is preferred. iCIMS experience a plus.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Canva or Adobe products a plus.
- MUST have a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent phone etiquette and personal presence.
- Must present a professional demeanor when dealing with internal and external clients.
- Excellent attendance.
- Good organizational skills and follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- This position will work a flexible schedule and will periodically work on weekends and holidays.
