Job Description
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the processing plant, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and achieving plant goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the processing of assigned products in accordance with scheduled requirements, cost standards, safety protocols, environmental regulations, quality and food safety specifications to maximize output at the lowest possible costs.
- Maintain an effective plant organization to ensure maximum utilization and development of employees.
- Execute plans to achieve plant financial targets and goals under the guidance of the Plant Manager.
- Organizational development and training are essential aspects of this role.
- Serve as a facility champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- A minimum of six years of experience in poultry production, with a Bachelor's degree being advantageous.
- At least five years of progressive managerial experience is required, preferably in fast food and portion control.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and strong communication skills are essential.
