- Implement internal controls and audits of policies and procedures to ensure the preservation of assets and maintain SOX compliance at the operating level.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses of plant finances and prepare reports to facilitate decision-making.
- Prepare financial statements and filings to ensure compliance with company, state, or official rules and regulations.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes to maintain organization and efficiency.
- Plan, organize, and guide projects to distribute work among employees.
- Assess current accounting operations to determine recommendations or solutions for improvement and implementation of new processes.
- Coordinate with account executives to streamline budget processing.
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
- Lead team members by effectively communicating, establishing clear goals and objectives, coaching team members on achieving goals, and ensuring access to training and development opportunities.
- Participate in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services.
