We create and operate hotels in places we love to visit! Our portfolio includes Casa Cody in the heart of iconic Palm Springs, The Pearl Hotel in San Diego, Hotel Marina Riviera in Big Bear Lake as well as The Surfrider in Malibu. Coming later this year we will open Hotel Willa in Taos, New Mexico, and Hotel Lucille in the heart of Los Angeles in the neighborhood of Silverlake. A project in upstate New York in the town of Hudson kicks off this summer. The portfolio is expanding at an intentional yet fast pace.
Reporting to: Hotel Manager / General Manager
Summary of Position: A Front Desk Supervisor primarily supervises front office staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and satisfaction. Responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Outstanding customer care at all times.
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Courteously and accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel .
- Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.
- Uses techniques to sell room nights, increase and revenue.
- Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Train, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems and coach and counsel the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.

- Allocate rooms to after checking the guests preferences and special requests.
- Build strong relationships and liaise with all other department's especially , reservations etc.
- Cross Check all billing instructions are correctly updated.
- Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel bank agreement policy.
- Supervise the operations of the front desk to ensure an optimal level of service and is provided to the guests.
- Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
- Ensures safety by following guest and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to security, manager, or MOD.
- Participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.
- Assist all departments in servicing the guests during high volume periods.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience as Front Office Associate in a hotel.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing or walking.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
