In this role, you will play an essential part in the safe and efficient handling, lifting, and positioning of heavy loads using rigging techniques and equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Assess and ready materials for lifting and movement.
- Identify and utilize the correct rigging tools and machinery for each job.
- Set up mobile cranes, pulleys, ropes, winches, and other temporary structures or lifting gear.
- Follow all occupational health and safety regulations, contributing to a culture of safety.
- Work closely with crane operators and construction personnel to execute lifting plans effectively.
- Conduct pre-operational checks, maintain rigging gear in optimal condition, and report any defects or concerns.
- Provide clear and concise updates to the construction team to ensure smooth operations.
- Safely remove and store rigging equipment after use.
- Attend safety meetings, training sessions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Hourly rate $21.83
