Associate Attorney

Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt & Penfield LLP is seeking an associate attorney to join our firm in San Diego, CA.

Casey Gerry, one of San Diego’s longest standing plaintiff law firm, has a rare opportunity to join our existing team of fifteen attorneys and to establish a long-term career. The firm works as a cohesive team unit and seeks an individual who will contribute to the consistent growth and success of the firm.

Join our dynamic litigation team as an Associate Attorney, with a minimum of 1-5 years of personal injury experience, either as defense or plaintiff's counsel. The position will be working for a lead partner with an active and aggressive litigation and trial practice. The Position involves conducting detailed and aggressive discovery, including drafting discovery, conducting depositions, reviewing propounded discovery, and initiating meet and confers as well as bringing motions to compel. Associates are expected to master facts of each case assigned and assist in trial preparation and trial.

Competitive Compensation: Our law firm offers a comprehensive compensation package of 105-140K base plus for attorneys who join our team.

a. Origination Structure: Attorneys receive a origination fees up to 10% of the firm's net take-away on settled cases they originate.

c. 401(k) Plan/Profit Sharing: Eligible after the introductory period, featuring an annual firm contribution of approximately 3% of your prior year earnings. Worth noting is that the firm will contribute regardless if you do.

d. Medical Benefits: Eligible for Blue Shields PPO and HMO coverage with 100% of your monthly premium covered by the firm, 75% for dependents. Vision and Dental insurance options provided.

e. Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
