Light Duty Warehouseperson

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures and techniques utilized in handling and storing stock items is a plus.
• Work is performed in a warehouse setting. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 55 pounds, as necessary. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, standing, lifting, carrying and loading supplies and equipment for periods of time.

Light Duty Warehouse Person fills orders of nonexpendable and expendable items for shipment to all Casey’s store locations. Occasionally operates non-motorized equipment, including pallet jacks, dollies and carts.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Examines and visually determines correct bay, shelf and slot numbers containing products to be repacked for shipment.

• Verifies visually and through pick system each order label for an accurate description and quantity of product ordered.

• Selects specified products from the correct pick slot, inspects for any damage and places items into tote container.

• Scans tote barcodes to ensure containers are labeled with the correct store numbers before being shipped.

• Examines tote containers prior to filling to ensure cleanliness per food safety plan, wiping with a clean cloth if there is minimal debris; otherwise, dirty totes are sent to the Tote wash area.

• Replenishes product in proper pick slots, either by pallet or by case.

• Complies with established Company safety procedures and all food safety regulations.

• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
• Shift is Monday thru Friday from 5am - 1:30p with overtime as needed.

Compensation:

Starting Pay:‏‏‎ ‎$17.50/hour. Team Members are eligible for an increase to $19.25/hour after 6 months of employment based on meeting performance standards.
