The Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing recruiting support for assigned areas of the organization, focusing on entry level individual contributor roles. This position will create and execute the full cycle of talent acquisition and sourcing strategies, including creating job postings, screening resumes and applications, completing phone interviews, scheduling manager interviews, making basic recommendations regarding compensation to hiring leaders, as well as crafting offer letters.
Key Responsibilities
Starting pay range: $47,700 - $62,600. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Create job postings to attract applicants to roles at Casey’s. Post requisitions on applicable websites. Source and recruit for roles utilizing a variety of sourcing methods. Consult with hiring leaders and compensation team to create a competitive offer (compensation, sign-on bonus, relocation, etc.).
- Manage entire candidate lifecycle in terms of scheduling phone screens, interviews, travel arrangements, follow-up communication, and act as the primary point of contact for information and assistance through the interview process. Make recommendations to leaders regarding next steps.
- Lead kick-off meetings with leaders to ensure understanding of new position and structure, and ensure leaders are knowledgeable on recruiting and onboarding process.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to attract top talent to Casey’s. Research, develop, and implement new ways to source and attract talent.
- Collaborate with other Recruiters on intern program facilitation and development.
- Participate in projects related to onboarding, outreach, internship program, employment branding, etc.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work-related experience is required.
- At least one year of experience with recruiting and prior experience with applicant tracking systems preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with based on transparency and mutual respect, both internally and externally.
- Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to apply recruiting best practices and techniques to assigned requisitions and projects.
- Ability to utilize experience and knowledge to recommend sound decisions.
