The IT Test Lab Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining IT test lab environments for various IT application products. This includes overseeing functional, systems integration, end-to-end, and regression testing. The role involves maintaining POS Labs to meet project demands, supporting the setup and management of various IT equipment, and utilizing IoT tools and solutions to connect POS systems as needed.
Key Responsibilities
This role does not allow for 100% remote work. Out of state qualified candidates must be willing to relocate and live within a daily commutable distance of Casey's Store Support Center in Ankeny, IA. Casey's has a hybrid work environment consisting of 3 days per week onsite.

Compensation
Starting pay range: $87,200 - $114,500. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT Test Lab environments for application products and FUEL pumps, including functional, systems integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
- Maintain and manage POS QE Labs to meet project demands.
- Support the setup and management of various pump simulator equipment.
- Utilize skills and knowledge of IoT tools and solutions to connect POS systems with kitchen management.
- Develop tools to manage and automate test lab operations.
- Estimate the level of effort required for lab management and change implementation, updating efforts in JIRA and Confluence.
- Manage and execute environment stability test cases in collaboration with the QE team. Coordinate and run smoke tests upon the deployment of new software builds to the lab.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of test environments into product testing.
- Continuously improve processes and methodologies for lab management to align with projects demands.
- Manage daily and weekly communications on test lab status to internal and external project stakeholders in partnership with QA Leads
- Define, manage, and publish environment stability metrics by establishing clear and measurable criteria to assess the stability of test lab environments, continuously monitoring and tracking these metrics to ensure reliability, and regularly sharing detailed reports and insights with stakeholders to highlight key findings and improvements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of QA experience with complex software projects.
- Experience in Agile development and test methodology.
- Understand Network and Security in compliance with Lab MGMT.
- Deep understanding of various testing methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team/supplier.
- Comfortable and effective within an agile scrum development framework.
- Proficient in reviewing and identifying circumstances and evidence of problems, applying sound troubleshooting practices to diagnose root causes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of designing pragmatic solutions.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Highly team-oriented and collaborative, open to new ideas.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Capable of managing stress in ambiguous situations.
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting.
