Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood sampling and specimen collection from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure proper identification of patients and specimens to maintain accuracy in laboratory results.
• Process specimens according to established laboratory techniques and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and ensuring comfort during the phlebotomy process.
• Ability to call businesses and explain our services
• Ability to sell our products and services

Required

• At least 2 years of previous experience drawing blood
• Knowledge of common blood tests
• Computer skills- usage of MS Word and Email. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
• Organizational skills- track inventory, keep records, order supplies
• Dependable and reliable
• Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug Screen

Desired

• Experience with Quest or Lab Corp
• Experience doing drug screens
• Sales or customer service experience

Facility hours of operation are as follows:
Monday - Friday 8:30A- 6:30P Saturday: 9:00 A- 2:00P
