Casey’s is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Administrator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the ongoing administration, configuration, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform to support our organization. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and security of our ServiceNow instance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ServiceNow modules including but not limited to ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SAM, CSM & HRSD.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate day-to-day with an energetic team of like-minded developers, product managers and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.
- Experience developing/administering on a ServiceNow Platform, including Workflows, Flows, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Catalog Items & Record Producers, Groups, Roles, Tables.
- Contribute to the technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow, including scripting aspects like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code in ServiceNow by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.).
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in alignment with industry best practices and company policies.
- Configure and integrate ServiceNow with other third-party applications and systems to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Develop dashboards and metrics within ServiceNow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent years of related work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, with a proven track record of successful platform implementations and support.
- ServiceNow - Certified System Administrator certification is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of ITIL processes and how they align with ServiceNow functionalities.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies used for ServiceNow configuration and development.
- Experience with automation techniques using PowerShell, Bash, API calls, and regular expressions.
- Experience with cloud services and CI/CD environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned.

This role does not allow for 100% remote work. Qualified out of state candidates must be willing to relocate and will need to live within a daily commutable distance of Casey's Store Support Center in Ankeny, IA and be willing to work in a hybrid work environment consisting of 3 days per week onsite.
Compensation
Starting pay range: $81,200-111,700. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for annual cash bonuses based on company performance and an annual equity grant in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the typical hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Salary : $81,200 - $111,700
