We are currently accepting internal applications for Store Managers In Training who are committed to growing their career while building strong and long-lasting relationships with our customers and our Team Members.
In this role, you will have co-management responsibility for day to day operations and delegation of duties and overseeing a store team of 5-25 people while providing outstanding customer service and building strong ongoing relationships with customers. Some key duties in this role will include:
- Maintaining operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing all program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures by scheduling and assigning Team Member tasks while following up and providing feedback on their work results
- Recruiting, interviewing, orienting, training and retaining Team Members
- Achieving all financial objectives, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions as appropriate
- Creating a safe, secure, and welcoming store experience for customers and Team Members through successful execution of Company merchandising and cleanliness standards
- Maintaining the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements
- Conducting HR investigations, as needed, with the assistance of Company leadership
While in role, you will complete the required training and development assignments that are part of the SMIT training.
Requirements for the Store Manager In Training role include:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience of supervisory or leadership experience
- Strategic and tactical staff management skills
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Valid drivers license and auto insurance
- Background of accountability for meeting targets and metrics in a performance-driven environment
- Bilingual, a plus
Completion of the SEALS training program is preferred
