We pay higher than average hourly rates in our industry and also offer UNCAPPED Bonus Commission which also exceed the industry standard.

• Base pay $13 P/H for applicants with little or no Pawnbroker or related field experience.
• $15 P/H for applicants with considerable Pawnbroker or related field experience w/ proven track record of high performance in field.
• UNCAPPED COMMISSION Bonus Potential Paid based on Individual Performance. WE INCENTIVIZE PERFORMANCE!!!!!

• General Duties:
• Responsibilities of Pawn Broker include but are not limited to the following;
• Greet and interact with all customers to determine individual needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions while creating a great environment for our customer to create a customers for life
• Perform non-managerial open/close procedures
• Maintain retail sales floor clean and stocked and properly display merchandise
• Perform sales and layaway transactions through clear communication, and customer relations
• Negotiate and evaluate pricing on short term collateral loans and direct merchandise purchases in accordance with established policies, procedures and practices. Effectively communicate to customers the legal aspects of a pawn and buy transaction
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in an effective and respectful manner.
• Partner with all coworkers to create a positive and memorable customer experience
• Answer incoming calls per company standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check (since all of our shops transact with firearms this is a non negotiable)
• Must be able to stand, walk and perform other types of physical labor 20 to 30% of the time and or for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and work with all kinds of interesting people
• Strong team orientation and ability to work individually
• Commission driven individuals excited about being directly compensated for their performance
• Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Task oriented
• Goal oriented
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work at multiple locations, as business needs dictate
• General knowledge of jewelry, guns and electronics is a PLUS!!!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
