What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pawn Broker/Sales Associate position at Texas Cash and Pawn?
Texas Cash and Pawn is searching for a highly motivated individual we can train to be a pawnbroker in our Bridgeport Texas store. This position is for part time help (2-3 days per week, 6-8 hours per day). Experience in the pawn industry is not required. Candidates must pass a background check and a drug screening test. You must be honest and have a willingness to help people in need. Computer skills are required. Knowledge of guns, musical instruments, jewelry and tools are a plus. If you're an outgoing person, possess the compassion to help people in need and have a great customer service attitude we can teach you everything you need to know in order to become our next team member.
Our team members are expected to perform the following pawnbroker activities:
Greet all customers and determine their individual needs.
Perform open/close procedures.
Keep sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain display of merchandise.
Perform sales and loan transactions.
Pawnbroker Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Cash handling experience.
1 year customer service experience required.
Computer literate.
Outgoing and energetic personality.
Ability to multi-task.
Bilingual a plus!!
Pawnbroker Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Continuous standing required.
Frequent walking, reaching, bending.
