Job description

Front Desk Duties:

  • Greet and check in guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently.
  • Work within several different computer systems in day-to-day operations.
  • Provide guests with information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
  • Manage guest requests, complaints, and concerns with prompt resolution.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Complete various side work/tasks as needed

Breakfast Attendant Duties:

  • Set up the breakfast area with food and beverages, ensuring a welcoming presentation.
  • Prepare and replenish breakfast items as needed, including hot and cold options.
  • Refresh guests coffee, tea, water and juices
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist guests with any breakfast-related inquiries or special requests.
  • Clean and sanitize the breakfast area and equipment after service.
  • Manage inventory and report any shortages or issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Preference for candidates 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a genuine desire to assist guests.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Food Handlers Permit required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity for handling food and operating office equipment.
