• Our admissions staff is one of the most important areas of our park. The Admissions department is the very first department that our guests encounter when they enter the park and look to make a good first impression. In this department as well as in the whole park, image and attitude are very important. We are looking for friendly, outgoing applicants for our front gate area of the park.
• The Cashier position is responsible for maintaining guest service, generating sales, housekeeping, Cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all company policy standards.
• It’s a demanding position and one where you have to multi-task, but it’s with other fun employees and inside air-conditioned areas. Have fun while making money! 

Requirements: 

• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
• Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media account abilities at POS registers
• Outgoing, friendly, energetic person willing to interact with customers, providing a friendly greeting and exchange is required.
• Be able to answer various questions about ticket prices, the admission system, height restrictions, locations of bathrooms, first-aid, Guest Services, and other general questions. Answers to questions are explained during training.
• Admissions cashiers are required to sit for long periods of time, perform repetitive tasks, and have a high-level of interaction with customers and co-workers.
• Admissions cashiers may be required to work outside as a ticket taker as needed. We believe in a team-culture at BWB so you may be asked to help out in other non-admissions positions. 
• Basic math skills are required. Ticket selling guides and calculators are always available.
• Cashiers must be comfortable around computers.

 Work Environment-

• This job is primarily inside the Admissions windows. Cashiers will sit or stand for long periods of time. Cashiers may be asked to assist outside when needed either temporarily or for an entire shift. This role is highly dependent on the use of a computer.

Expected hours of work:

Must have a somewhat flexible schedule including morning, evening, weekends and holidays (no exceptions) from Memorial Day weekend (when school is not in session) through mid-September. We will work with special requests, but the more availability you provide us, the better schedule we can give you and allow you time off as requested since others are more available.
