Job Description:
The TiAmo Sushi Roller is responsible for preparing and presenting sushi orders in a delightful and standardized manner. Coordinating individual orders and actively communicating with front and back of house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations.
Job Requirements:
- Meets all guest needs during the meal in order to achieve a positive dining experience for the guest.
- Ensures standards of appearance and sanitation are maintained daily. Maintains appropriate safety practices throughout the kitchen.
- Maintains line of communication between Chef, Kitchen, Bar and Dining Room.
- Take fast and appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Completes orders and serves guests at sushi bar.
- Cleans food preparation equipment and work area, including counter and tables.
- Prepares all food according to established procedures.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow team members, and vendors.
- Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
- Customer service oriented with an outgoing, upbeat, and positive personality.
- The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
