Description

Qualified candidates will be responsible for: event setup and breakdown; cleaning, organizing, and maintaining all event inventory and equipment in all function rooms, storerooms and public function areas.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Speak English fluently and coherently (bilingual a plus)
• Pass background check with City of San Jose
Required Experience:
• Must be a Self-Starter and Motivated
• Able to work without direct supervision and direction
• Knowledge and set-up of A/V equipment systems a plus
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to push and/or pull cart or other equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Work well under pressure in a fast pace environment
• Able to work irregular hours, nights and weekends
• Prior experience in hospitality or events PREFERRED
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting compensation is $16.00 - $18.00 hourly plus tips. Employee benefits are available for all qualifying full-time employees including: paid time off, medical, vision, and dental insurance. In addition to a 20% employee discount.
