SUMMARY:
Performs soft count responsibilities as assigned; to include Table Games count, slot machine cash drops, coin drop, count and verification of currency and chips.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to operate a 10-key calculator
- Ability to perform basic math computations
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to set and follow priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and customers
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Able to obtain and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collects currency acceptors from slot machines and transports to count room
- Operates optical currency handling system and rapid counting of large sums of currency while ensuring the safety of funds processed
- Counts daily receipts from gaming operations
- Cleans and maintains count room and equipment
- Maintains confidentiality of all casino operation data
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
- Constantly walking and standing
- Constant hearing, seeing and talking
- Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping
- Ability to lift 40 - 60 pounds
WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Close spaces while working with others
- Excessive noise and smoke
